Kano Lawmaker distributes cash, palliative to residents

The lawmaker for the Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Kano State, Abdulmumin Jibrin has distributed palliative assistance to 10,000 men and women throughout the constituency.

The Ramadan palliative saw the beneficiaries receiving N200,000,  N100,000, N50,000, N20,000, and N10,000, respectively.

The lawmaker disclosed this in a statement accompanied by photos shared on his X handle on Tuesday. 

During the Ramadan relief program, beneficiaries received financial aid ranging from N200,000, N100,000, N50,000, N20,000, and N10,000.

More than 2,000 young individuals received different craft tools designed to promote their self-sufficiency.

The statement read, "As part of his sustained tradition, the member representing Kiru/Bebeji Constituency, Kano, in the House of Representatives,  Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin has disbursed palliatives to 10,000 male and female constituents across Kiru/Bebeji.

"The beneficiaries received ₦200,000,  ₦100,000, others ₦50,000, ₦20,000, and ₦10,000, respectively.

"Additionally, over 2,000 youths have also benefited from various craft tools that will help them become self-reliant."
