Asake reunites with father Odunsi, promises new house, medical support

Popular Nigerian Singer, Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake, has mended fences with his father, Fatai Odunsi, after having experienced a public disagreement.

Asake's father had accused him of neglecting him, stating that their last meeting took place in March 2022, coinciding with the onset of his health decline.

In a video that has since gone viral on Sunday, Asake's father stated that his son had contacted him with a generous offer to purchase a house and provide support for his health expenses.

Speaking in Yoruba, Odunsi voiced his pride in Asake and offered him heartfelt prayers.

“His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting.

"Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems. They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything.

"Asake has also agreed to take full responsibility.

“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child.”
