Explosion rocks Israeli capital in suspected terror attack

Explosion has occurred in Bat Yam, a city just south of Tel Aviv, three buses were affected on Thursday.

Photos currently making the rounds on X, shows one bus in a parking lot on fire.

According to the Israel authorities, the incident was a suspected terror attack, stating that investigative is ongoing.

In another video seen by Thewatch Africa, and posted by an X user, identified as Eli Afriat #EliafriatISR with caption, "3 buses exploded in the center of the country in the last hour. 

We are lucky that the buses were empty. We could have seen one of the biggest attacks we have ever seen today. 

"The event is not over yet. Pray for Israel."

Police officers immediately arrived at the scenes searching for suspects.

As of the time of filing this report, Thewatch Africa correspondent gathered that no lives were lost. 

Authorities are urging the public to avoid the areas and remain alert for suspicious items.
