Nigerian controversial crossdresser and social media influencer, Idris Okunleye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been arrested by security operatives at the Lagos Airport.
Bobrisky was arrested while attempting to flee Nigeria for London amid allegations of bribery against him.
This was made known in a photo shared on Instagram by Social commentator Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State Governor, on Thursday, with the caption, "Look who’s on the same flight with me to London, #Bobrisky222."
In a viral video seen on X.com, Bobrisky was later removed from flight that was about to fly to London by airport officials and arrested on Thursday night.
Bobrisky shared photo of the injury he sustained on his Instagram story also claim the arrest by operatives of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission, with the caption, "Nigerians help me efcc just arrested me, I'm badly injured."
In October, the crossdresser was arrested while attempting to escape to the Benin Republic.
Thewatch Africa had reported that Bobrisky was arrested by the agency at the Seme-Nigerian border during a passport check.
His arrest occurred just hours before he was scheduled to attend a Senate panel of inquiry meeting regarding allegations against him.
Reports indicate that Bobrisky was trying to evade questioning by the Senate.
