The General Overseer of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, Pastor Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has shared his story of being involved in armed robbery at the age of 14.
In a video that is making the rounds on social media, the self acclaimed pastor could be seen addressing his congregation.
Odumeje claimed that he grew up in a rough neighbourhood in Onitsha, Anambra State, where the kind of lifestyles and people he mingled with led him to join criminal gangs
Odumeje explained how his journey from criminal activities to becoming a pastor was made possible by his mother, who played a pivotal role in guiding him towards Christianity and salvation.
Odumeje credited her influence as the turning point that transformed his life.
Odumeje said, “At the age of 14 years, I did not visit Onitsha city. I was not born in a village, I was born in Onitsha City, No. 3, Nnewi Street, and I grew up in a dangerous street.
"I became an armed robber at the age of 14. I became a terrorist. Until Jesus Christ arrested me through the help of my mother to change my life. And a destroyer became a saviour."
