Operatives of the Drainage Enforcement and Compliance department of the Lagos Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources have begun the clearing of contravening structure along the Adeyemi Lawson - Ilabere - Oyinkan Abayomi collector, Ikoyi axis to allow the free flow of water.
Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokubo Wahab disclosed this in a post shared on his X.com handle on Monday.
The post read, "Operatives of the Drainage Enforcement and Compliance department of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources commenced removal of contravening structures along Adeyemi Lawson - Ilabere - Oyinkan Abayomi collector, Ikoyi to allow cleaning of the drains and free flow of stormwater."
