Popular American actress, singer, dancer, and businesswoman, Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from her husband, Ben Affleck.

On Tuesday, the actress also known as JLo reportedly filed for divorce from the actor after nearly two years of marriage.

The pair married in July 2022 in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony.

A month later, the couple exchanged vows in front of their family and friends when they hosted a second ceremony at Ben’s lavish estate in Georgia.

Based on credible findings by THEWATCH AFRICA, Lopez and her husband parted ways months ago.

A source close source told our correspondent that Jen and Ben were dealing with major marital struggles and would go weeks without spending time together.

The actress had revealed the date of separation as April 26, 2024, and failed to mention a prenup.

The divorce reports come after months of speculation that the pair had called it quits on their marriage.

According to court documents obtained by CBS Los Angeles, the singer filed the paperwork Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, the same day as their second wedding anniversary.

Another source close to the star told the Daily Mail that those close to the singer are growing tired of her chaotic love life.

After four failed marriages, her friends feel that she should take a look inside and focus on herself instead of what others want her to be and finally figure out who she is and what she wants from her future.

She later rose to prominence as an actress, with leading roles in the films Selena (1997), Anaconda 1997, and Out of Sight 1998 establishing her as the highest-paid Latin actress.
