Celebrated Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs, is ringing in his 82nd birthday on Thursday, just a short while after unfounded rumours of his passing spread like wildfire on social media.
His wife, Joke Silva, took to her Instagram page on Thursday to share a video of his celebration husband with the caption, "82 just like that. Agba ko ni nira l’agbara Jesu.
“Happy birthday and have an amazing year ahead, my darling… Sir J of life _olujacobs (loving his customised housecoat).”
In the video, the veteran actor was in a customised house coat as she showered him with prayers.
Jacobs has been receiving congratulations from other celebrities and fans on social media.
A Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde commented on Silva's post, wishing him a happy birthday and praising him as a legend, she wrote, "“Happy birthday to a legend, a father to the industry, an outstanding actor, an incredible soul.”
Osas Ighodaro wrote, “Happy Birthday, legend! God bless you immensely.”
