A yet-to-be-identified three-year-old boy has died after falling into a cesspit in the Igando of Lagos State.
The spokesperson for Lagos state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a photo shared on his X.com handle on Saturday with the caption, "Somewhere in Igando today, Unfortunately, a 3-year-old fell into it and died. This was avoidable!."
According to Hundeyin, the child fell into the cesspit because it was left open.
