Some troops have arrived Kogi state ahead of the November 11, gubernatorial election.
The presence of the military and other security agencies is to intensify security arrangement and to avert any unruly acts capable of disrupting the election.
This excercise is to ensure a smooth electionerring progcess in the state.
The video of the troops in Kogi was shared on Zagazola X handle on Monday.
The Inspector-General of Polce Egbetokun, had earlier called on the people of Kogi to embrace peace, uphold the sanctity of the rule of law and be law-abiding in their endeavours during and after the election.
The video caption read, “Kogi celebrate deployment of troops ahead of the state’s elections”.
