Mohbad spirit has not left me, I need justice for my friend – Bella Shmurda

Eric Patrick

Nigerian artiste, Bella Shmurda, has broken his silence following the death of his close friend and colleague, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

The singer took to his Twitter page where he expressed grief regarding the sudden and mysterious passing of the late rapper.

In the series of tweets shared on Sunday, the singer claimed Mohbad’s spirit has refused to leave him alone since his death which occurred on Tuesday

“For the past few days now, I have been deliberating on what to do while waiting for the authorities of the Nigerian police to at least get one or people involved in maltreatment and malicious act towards Mohbad,” he wrote.

Since he died his spirit has not left me – saying a lot of things in my head, pointing hands to people that need to be dealt with in my dreams.”

Bella also claimed Mohbad had submitted “lots and lots of petitions” against people harassing him. He further blamed the Nigerian Police Force for “nepotism and nonchalant attitude” toward the matter.

In a June 27, 2023 petition, late Mohbad alleged that music promoter, Sam Larry and 15 others all armed, stormed the venue of a video shoot where he and another artiste, Omoniyi Temidayo aka Zlatan Ibile, were working; and threatened to wreak havoc.
