Super Falcons striker Gift Monday has charged her teammates to be prepared for the Monday game against the Republic of Ireland in the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Commenting on the scheduled game against Ireland’s ‘Girls In Green’, at the Brisbane Stadium, Monday, in a short clip shared on Instagram by TeamNigeriaUK, Sunday, admitted their opponents were no pushovers, noting that the Super Falcons should be prepared for anything.
“It’s going to be a tough game also like you said. They (Ireland) are not a pushover side so we should be prepared for anything that may come up tomorrow,” Monday said.
The Super Falcons, with four points from their first two matches, currently hold the top position of Group B in the ongoing competition.
